Overhead insulated cable

An overhead insulated cable is an overhead conductor equipped with an insulation layer and a protective sheath. It is a specialized cable manufactured using a production process similar to cross-linked cables, and is a new transmission method between overhead conductors and underground cables. Specially designed for installation on the ground, usually on utility poles, to facilitate the transmission of electricity from the power source to the end user.

Usage characteristics:

1. The long-term allowable working temperature of cable conductors shall not exceed 75 ℃ for high-density polyethylene insulated overhead cables; Cross linked polyethylene insulated overhead cable: 90 ℃.

2. The ambient temperature during cable laying should not be lower than -20 ℃.
